The inside of the third casemate seen through the embrasure
The inside of the third casemate and the access corridor seen from the outside through the embrasure. Note on the left the connecting line between the base and the rear cap (11/08/1998).

The inside of the third casemate seen from the entrance
The inside of the third casemate seen from the entrance with the crack which completely goes through the front wall. Underneath the embrasure you see the seat for the traverse movement pin of the 75/27 cannon. Note the lack of symmetry with regard to the embrasure of the casemate whose left side is larger in order to give more working room to the artillerists (09/10/1999).

On the right wall of the casemate looking from the entrance you see the dedication:

S.TEN. [2nd Lieutenant]
VALLERO VALERIO

while on the left wall you see in relief the mark of the manufacturer:

FONDERIA MILANESE
DI ACCIAIO
[Milanese Steel Foundry]
VANZETTI MILANO
