The position of Weapon 2 (A2), located at the far right of the transverse corridor of the concrete pillbox, is equipped with a three-part plate which is strong enough to support heavy caliber weapons.
The niche underneath the armor plate which held the container of cooling water for the machine gun, indicates that it was intended for the machine gun model Fiat 14.

A pair of tubes, which served to support the photophonic apparatus (one for the sender and one for the receiver) and were originally imbedded in the beginning part of the opening, have been removed.
